Law graduate helping students learn Law, Social Sciences and English. IELTS 8.5

I am a law graduate with a deep passion for teaching and mentoring students in Law, Social Sciences and English. Having completed my legal education at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, and now pursuing my postgraduate studies at University College London, I have developed both academic rigour and a strong practical understanding of how law and society interact.

My journey in education and outreach began through PULER (People United for Law, Education and Rehabilitation), where our team adopted a local government school. I taught students from Classes 5 to 10 every weekend and occasionally on weekdays, helping them strengthen their reading, reasoning and communication skills. We also organised events, debates and creative workshops to make learning interactive and enjoyable. Working with PULER helped me develop patience, empathy and the ability to explain complex ideas in simple, engaging ways.

Alongside this, I was actively involved with the Legal Aid Clinic (LAC), where we worked to spread legal awareness among underprivileged communities and helped individuals access justice. My work included simplifying legal concepts for people unfamiliar with the system and assisting in community visits and legal literacy drives.

As part of the Student Bar Association (SBA) at NLIU, I also took on leadership roles that required teamwork, communication and problem-solving. I helped plan welfare initiatives, coordinate student events and ensure a positive, inclusive campus environment. These experiences shaped me into someone who thrives in collaborative, service-oriented spaces.

After completing my degree, I began my career as an advocate, appearing in courtrooms and engaging directly with clients and cases. This experience sharpened my analytical abilities and deepened my understanding of how to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world situations, something I now strive to share with my students.

My lessons are designed to help learners truly understand their subjects rather than memorise them. I focus on interpreting and applying legal principles, improving writing and argumentation skills, and nurturing critical thinking. For English and Social Science students, I emphasise clarity of expression, structured reasoning and confidence in communication.

With an IELTS score of 8.5, I have a strong command of the language and enjoy helping others.
