I am Lucia and I am so excited to be your language teacher.

I always loved languages, and I am aware of how hard it might feel when starting the learning process but also how rewarding it is to dive into a new culture and uncover all the cool and quirky sides of a language.


Get ready for a fun ride as we explore expressions, play with grammar, and discover the unique vibes of the Italian language. Can't wait to make language learning a blast with all of you!


Over the course of my dynamic career as a language teacher over the past 4 years, I have accumulated extensive experience, from traditional 1-to-1 sessions to volunteering settings to informal conversations over a cup of tea - or coffee, rather!


In terms of methodology, I design my lessons to be interactive and creative, encouraging students to actively engage in conversations, role-plays, and real-life scenarios. This not only enhances their language proficiency but also instills confidence in using the language authentically and having fun while doing it.


I hold a Biomedical Engineering Degree and have experience in teaching other subjects such as Maths, Physics and English, as well as helping students prepare for exams and certificates such as IELTS.


I also studied theatre and I now work as an artist and facilitator in London, I hold workshops on various artistic practices and would love to include them in our sessions, as I am a strong believer in learning through art and play.


I am also very passionate about Italian Culture and Literature: I have studied at a Classical High School called Giosué Carducci in Milan (graduating with 100/100), with a focus on Italian Literature, History and Philosophy. As well as Latin, where Italian comes from! I am prepared and very happy to include my Italian Literature/Culture knowledge in our lessons for whoever is interested!
