Advert description
My lessons are designed to be clear, structured, and confidence-building. I start by identifying exactly what you need help with, whether that’s GCSE English Language, exam technique, creative writing, or improving your grades in essays.
Each lesson begins with a short warm-up activity to get you thinking in the right way for the topic. We then move into focused, guided work on skills such as analysing language, structuring essays, understanding assessment objectives, and writing high-quality responses under timed conditions.
I break down exam questions into simple, manageable steps and teach you how to approach them efficiently. I also explain what examiners are actually looking for, so you can maximise marks without unnecessary stress. You’ll get model answers, annotated examples, and personalised feedback after every piece of work.
Lessons are interactive and adapted to your learning style. Some students prefer step-by-step explanation, while others learn best through practice and discussion. I adjust the lesson structure to match what works for you, keeping things engaging and supportive while still academically challenging.
Although I’m currently a university student studying Law, I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE English and have a strong background in essay-based subjects. This means I teach not just the content, but the skill of writing clearly, persuasively, and with confidence.
Whether you need weekly support, exam preparation, or help improving specific skills, my lessons are flexible, goal-focused, and designed to help you reach the highest grades.
I am friendly, patient and approachable and happy to listen to any concerns you may have as well as take the time to get to know you as well as possible so we can have a friendly and supportive environment!
