I have a degree in Economics from the University of Liverpool with a year in China studying at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou.

My lessons are designed to be supportive, structured and tailored to each student’s needs. I would usually begin by identifying the student’s current level, the areas they find most difficult, and what they want to achieve. From there, I build lessons step by step, using clear explanations, worked examples, discussion and practice questions to help students understand the topic properly rather than just memorising information.

The format of my lessons is flexible depending on the student, but I aim to keep them engaging, calm and productive. A typical lesson would include a short recap of previous work, focused teaching on one or two key areas, and then practice to apply what has been covered. I also believe regular feedback is important, as it helps students recognise their progress and build confidence over time.
