Advert description
My Computer Science lessons are structured, supportive, and designed to build confidence from the very first session. I begin each lesson with a short recap to strengthen memory and check understanding, before moving into clear, step‑by‑step modelling where I talk through my thinking. Whether we’re tackling pseudocode, algorithms, Python, or exam‑style logic, students see exactly how to break problems down and approach them with confidence.
Once I’ve modelled the concept, we move into guided practice. I use scaffolded examples that gradually increase in difficulty so students can experience success while stretching their understanding. As they grow more confident, they take on independent challenges using real GCSE or A‑Level exam questions. We end each session with a brief reflection so students can articulate what they’ve learned and identify their next steps.
I tailor every lesson to the student’s level, goals, and exam board, covering everything from algorithmic thinking and data representation to networks, cybersecurity, and exam technique. My teaching style is calm, clear, and highly structured, with a strong focus on building genuine understanding rather than memorisation.
