Affordable Science lessons from a Microbiologist

I have been tutoring for a just over a year. I have obtained a 2:1 in Biomedical Science. I always want to make my students comfortable and happy with their studies. I plan my sessions in advance, keeping in mind the areas of struggles my students have and use exam questions to help them feel confident for the ultimate day. I have tutored for several schools, as part as an organisation as well as a private tutor for over three years. My lessons are around an 1hr but can be longer depending on the needs of the students. During my sessions, I aim to find out what areas my students need help with, arrange a schedule with them to ensure enough time is spent. Also, I will provide them with worksheets, exam questions and refer them to other resources so they can consolidate their learning. I have knowledge of the various curriculums and usually refer to exam specifications so that I don’t miss any major learning points.
