Science (Biology/Chemistry) and History tutor with experience offering tutoring to students of all ages

I am a student who is currently on a gap year with the hopes to study medicine in the 2023 entry. I hope to make effective use of my year out working as a care assistant to build up relative work experience and savings for university. I achieved a strong grade profile of: A* (Biology) A* (History) A (Chemistry) at A level & 5A* and 4A at GCSE.
Within my school I acted as both a science mentor and history mentor helping both junior and senior ends of the school within my final year of studies. I gave up a minimum of 2 study periods per week to assist in classroom environments while also supporting students in the lunch time support clubs. Furthermore, within our school system I became a member of the school council, sixth committee and deputy head boy. Outside of school I compete in tennis at Ireland national level and coach at a variety of levels and ages.

As noted, I am able to offer tutoring at a variety of levels and ages as I understand the curriculum and how to communicate effectively with different age groups. I would assume our tutoring lessons would be online unless you are located in Northern Ireland. I have a strong Wi-Fi connection with one of BT’s newest broadbands and a laptop with a good camera (with back-ups!). I would take the time to properly plan our lesson using previous experience and ensure it is of a high standard (I am a slight perfectionist!) and hopefully build up a great rapport with you. I am easygoing and relaxed but would be determined to make sure you can get the best grade possible!
