Advert description
I have been working as a tutor since 2020, and all the students I have tutored before achieved A*-B in their GCSE/A-Level exams. I recently did a tutoring class with a qualified nurse and helped him pass his non-prescribing pharmaceutical calculation exam. Also, I won an international Mathematics Olympiad award in 2014.
My tutoring style is supportive and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, step-by-step explanations and use plenty of practice questions to build confidence and exam technique. I believe that learning should be interactive, and I encourage students to ask questions and actively engage during lessons.
I enjoy tutoring because it gives me the chance to help students reach their full potential. Personally, I didn’t have any support when I was doing my GCSE/A-level exams, so I want to do my best to help my students as I know that without any support, exams can be extremely difficult, not only by improving their grades but also by boosting their confidence and interest in the subject. Seeing students grow in ability and self-belief is what motivates me to teach.
