My lessons are personal and dependant upon student abilities. Whether a student is struggling with understanding texts, analysing quotations, structuring essays, or aiming for the highest grades, I tailor my teaching to their individual needs. I focus on building confidence, improving analytical skills, and developing clear exam techniques that help students maximise marks. As I have completed GCSE English Literature relatively recently myself and achieved full marks on both papers, I am familiar with the current specifications and common challenges students face as well as what examiners look for in order to differentiate average answers with grade 8/9 level . My approach is friendly, supportive, and engaging, creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions and develop their understanding of literature. I aim not only to help students achieve strong results but also to encourage a genuine appreciation for the texts they study by ensuring they are enjoyable and interesting to the students.
