I understand that subjects such as psychology, research methods and academic writing can sometimes feel overwhelming. My approach is to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable explanations and use practical examples to help students understand and apply their knowledge. Lessons can focus on specific topics, revision support, essay writing, coursework, exam preparation, research methods or dissertation guidance depending on your goals.
As a psychology graduate from the University of Gloucestershire, I have developed strong knowledge across a range of psychological topics, alongside research and academic writing skills. I also achieved a first-class grade in my dissertation, which involved conducting an independent qualitative research project using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). In addition, I have experience as an assistant psychologist and have supported learners within SEN educational settings, which has strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching style to different learning needs.
My lessons are typically delivered online and are interactive, encouraging discussion and active participation rather than simply memorising information. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build confidence, independent learning skills and a genuine understanding of the subject.
