I’m Dario — a German-Italian PhD student in History at Keele University with a genuine passion for languages, cultures, and connecting people through learning. Before starting my PhD, I worked as a teacher at a German grammar school, where I discovered how rewarding it is to help students grow in confidence and curiosity while mastering a new language. I love creating lessons that are engaging, practical, and tailored to your personal goals, whether you’re learning for travel, study, work, or simply for the joy of it!

I hold a degree in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam and have gained professional experience at the European Commission and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ). Thanks to this background, I can easily adapt my teaching to include specialized vocabulary related to politics, international relations, economics, and culture—perfect for students and professionals who want to improve their communication in an academic or European context.
