Currently finishing my A-levels, I aim to now embark teaching younger years who struggle with English at KS4 level and find it challenging. I attain significant experience in teaching others in year groups bellow ie helping year 7,8,9s with reading utilising my free periods to help them attain better understanding. I strive to help my students achieve the highest grade they can get through breaking down the fundamentals of each text they learn. Removing the idea of ‘English being subjective’ and showing how English doesn’t need to be a subject of burden but instead show how easy it is to achieve a high grade at KS4 level where I can show students the tips I used to achieve an A* at GCSE. Showing students that English revision doesn’t need to always consist of memorising quotes only and wondering where you went wrong when receiving grade back; where instead I’ll show students the ways to attain these higher grades through an acronym I’ve made of ‘RnB’ shown to be affective through my teachings of younger years where my excelled by jumping 2 or more grades in their mock exams.
