University seminar leader and practising psychologist

Having just completed my PhD in social psychology I am building up my teaching portfolio with a blend of university teaching, tutoring, and applied practice. I have been leading seminars at both the University of Salford and Manchester Metropolitan University while I completed my PhD. As I returned to education as a mature student I have a wealth of experience including coaching tag-rugby, working in printing and marketing, in addition to my academic career. I am also a father of two young adults who have recently been through GCSE, A-level and degree courses so I have seen first hand the requirements of these phases.

In addition to my academic work I am a practising sport and exercise psychologist, working with junior and amateur atheletes, through 1-1 sessions and workshops. I also provide psychological support to the England men's amputee football team.
