Experienced, qualified teacher of 11+, Maths and English

A friend recommened Deborah after a very disappointing experience with group tutoring for the 11+. When we moved over to Deborah, my daughter only had a couple of months before her exam, so she catered every lesson to the gaps in her learning. She had a massive learning curb, but Deborah did wonders in boosting our daughters' confidence, skills, and knowledge before the exam. My daughter loved her sessions, and we could see the shift in her attitude to learning and the real sense of achievement she felt. Deborah was absolutely brilliant with our daughter (who at the wise old age of 10-11, knows everything about everything!). She provides an excellent structure for the children to follow independently at home additional to her one to one session’s in classes, is available to them for help and guidance at any time, and strikes a perfect balance between what is meant to be hard work, but at the same time, is “just enough” in order to prepare them for the task ahead. I would 100% recommend this lady, she is a consummate professional and her experience is second to none. She guides, reassures and cajoles her students in to thinking for themselves , forward planning and executing what they have been taught in order to achieve success.
