Advert description
I have a secondary-school degree in Language and Humanities obtained in Italy, having studied intensive Italian, English, French, and German language & literature. Because of this I have experience learning languages, and I am familiar with the issues that one might face. I have also been an Italian tutor for 2 consecutive years in a Migrant Reception Centre in Italy, thus, developed specific skills when it comes to structuring lessons for different types of levels. I have taught both individual and group lessons.
I like to structure my lessons using informal teaching methods. I aim to insert a range of activities and use external resources such as film and music material, as well as literary text. I have books to sustain my teaching and provide students with material to WFH and prepare for the next lesson.
Finally, when tutoring I try and learn from my students as well: learn how to teach better, how to make the lessons more engaging, which material works and which does not. Therefore, I always ask for students to give me their feedback for every lesson, and encourage them to propose new learning activities that might be more adapt to their own specific "way of learning" and intelligence.
