Advert description
My fascination with uncovering the mysteries of the universe led me to choose physics as my primary subject in university. I completed my MPhil in physics and currently awaiting my doctorate, having submitted my PhD thesis with three international publications in the field of space plasma physics. Currently working as an assistant professor of physics in Pakistan, I am of the believe that teaching is a profession that can inspire the future generation of physicists by developing a conceptual approach and problem-solving skills in them. I aim to achieve this by demonstrating during the lectures, incorporating lab experiments, and utilizing a student-centered rather than a teacher-centered approach. My ultimate goal is to make physics relatable and applicable to my students’ daily lives. I have been teaching the UK National Curriculum of Physics for the last 2 years in different academies in Pakistan which mainly includes the concepts of energy, forces, forces and motion, electricity and magnetism, the structure of matter, atomic physics and space physics along with the mathematics required for physics. I also have a detailed understanding of the assessment scheme and the marks distribution of GCSE physics taught in the UK. Infect I have been teaching physics at the college and university level for the last 13 years. During my college and university teaching, I have taught various physics courses including mechanics, waves and oscillations, electricity and magnetism, statistical physics and computational physics at various colleges and universities in Punjab, Pakistan. Additionally, I have instructed and supervised the student laboratory work, ensuring individual safety, and proper techniques and procedures.
Teaching is a noble profession, often regarded as the work of prophets, which is why I am passionate about my role as an educator and continuously strive to learn new methodologies and approaches that will enhance the learning experience of my students.
Sincerely
Zain Ali
