Three years of experience as an online tutor in Statistics, probability and mathematics

I have done Masters in Statistics. I have online tutoring experience of 3 years and also have almost 5 years of experience as offline classes of different subjects. I taught undergraduate students for the various subjects but especially for statistics. I also worked as a subject matter expert of statistics. I helped hundreds of students to understand the statistics topics they were having trouble with. l deeply enjoys helping students explore the a statistics tutor, I use Venn diagrams and flow charts so that a student can understand the statistics problem in a good way. I always set the expectation before starting a lesson whether a student is using any particular method or else proceed with the easiest method . I usually ask the questions from students also by saying “is it clear so far?”, Do the steps make sense now?” so that they feel more comfortable to ask their queries. if student is understanding the concept and steps I like to motivate them by asking : “ Could you please try to do the next step now ?”
I believe that the most important factor during tutoring is to check student's background knowledge regarding concept so that it will be beneficial for tutor and student to make the lesson efficient.
