Hello everyone!

My lessons typically run via Powerpoint Presentations where we will look at a variety of tasks from conversational practise to pronouncing specific sounds and learning unique features of English to practising vocabulary.

Every lesson is planned according to your needs and you are welcome to make suggestions at any time if there is something you would like to learn or have included in the lesson.

I have taught ESL for 1 year around 170+ lessons which has given me some strong experience to provide quality lessons for every student. This has given me the opportunity to speak to and tutor around 30 students and provided me with first hand experience of teaching children and adults. Through this I have learnt how to accommodate specific needs, how to teach in a way that is interactive, engaging and fun. Students are always fully involved every step of the way and can ask questions or for repetitions as many times as they would like.

A typical lesson would start with a conversation for around 10 minutes before we begin with the key theme of the lesson. examples of key themes include contractions, British slang, silent letters, vowel sounds (a, e, i, o, u), vocabulary for around the house. Within each key theme there will be taught content, writing tasks, listening tasks, repetition, corrections, description (for example describing an image), word tasks such as matching words with pictures or finding the key vocabulary from a word search.

Every lesson will look different as I find it important to implement many different tasks and opportunities for students to keep them entertained and ensure that learning English is a enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
