Spanish tutor, teaching students of all ages

I am currently studying a degree in Business with Marketing at the University of Edinburgh. I am half Scottish and half Spanish, so I am a native speaker of both English and Spanish. Additionally, I have an intermediate level in French (B1). Having grown up in Madrid, Spain, and completed the Spanish baccalaureate (high school) there, I have a deep understanding of language acquisition and its importance. Being bilingual myself, I am deeply passionate about facilitating language learning for others.

I have over 5 years of experience as a tutor, assisting individuals aged 2 to 30 in learning either Spanish or English. My expertise extends from guiding young children in learning a new language from their earliest years to supporting adults seeking language proficiency. Additionally, I have worked with numerous teenagers navigating language studies within a school curriculum. My adaptable approach enables me to tailor lessons to individual needs and levels effectively.

My approach to Spanish tutoring is interactive. I focus on practical communication skills that centre round vocabulary and pronunciation (listening and speaking skills) whilst still guiding Tutee's through the essentials of grammar.
I make sure to tailor each lesson to each individuals learning styles, needs and interests. I strive to instill confidence and fluency in my Tutee's. I like to include cultural elements that will make the learning experience more engaging and authentic.
