My name is Tanesh and I am a 6th form student at King Edwards VI Five Ways Grammar School studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-level. I achieved 9's in Biology, Physics and Maths, and an 8 in Chemistry at GCSE Level, and I am passionate about giving other students the opportunity to do the same. I tutor AQA Biology, Chemistry, and Physics and Pearson Edexcel Maths to GCSE level and also tutor for the 11+. I tailor my lessons towards students as much as I can and will go through whichever topics the student is struggling in most to boost their grades in this area. My teaching style involves going through power points and notes, finishing off with going through some past paper questions to really nail down the exam technique. I also aim to relate everything back to analogies as I believe analogies are a great way to help students remember key facts and information whilst also keeping the lesson engaging. At the end of each lesson I will aim to leave the student with some exam questions relating to the topics covered in the lesson. If the student has any queries during the week they are able to contact me via email and I will always respond within 24 hours, that is a guarantee. I have experience tutoring and mentoring within my school and set up a tutoring club for any younger students who need help understanding a topic.
