For young people who have been studying all day at school it is important to me to offer a relaxed and engaging learning experience. The lessons are tailor made to the individual, depending on their ability and goals. I teach all style of music and endeavor to make sure my pupils are engaged and encouraged to bring out the best in them. Pupils can study for ABRSM or Trinity piano exams, we can work on theory up to grade 5 to be able to access the higher piano grades with ABRSM.
There is no pressure to sit exams, piano should be an enjoyable experience, and for some pupils, exams are not the best approach.. learning for personal achievement and enjoyment does not have to mean studying for exams.. we explore repertoire and styles and enjoy the personal musical journey and development.
Technical skills are developed over each lesson, along with notes of what to work on before the next lesson. My soul purpose is to make sure my lessons are enjoyable and inspiring for each individual I teach.
