I am originally from Venezuela and a graduate of the University of The West of England (UWE) where I have been living in the UK for 8 years. I am an experienced teacher, having taught English and Spanish to more than 120 students at Narxoz University in Kazakhstan. As a teacher, I am an excellent communicator, working with students from the ages of 17-21 years old. I was tasked with preparing lectures, leading discussions, conducting forums, organizing games, or workshops, and assessing student learning through assignments, exams, IELTS preparation tests, and presentations. Additionally, my proficiency in utilizing platforms like Canvas and Socratives for course management and interactive assessment underscores my readiness to navigate modern educational tools. I am skilled in technology and digital resources to enhance the learning experience. I have experience with virtual classroom platforms, interactive whiteboards, multimedia presentations, and educational apps, creating dynamic and effective lessons that facilitate student engagement and comprehension. My three important rules in my lessons are respect, no English/Spanish, and having fun.

As a University teacher, I serve as a role model for my students, demonstrating professionalism and integrity, being a good listener and serving their needs, identifying their strengths and weaknesses, and a commitment to learning. I challenge and inspire students to excel academically and pursue their goals with passion and dedication. What truly sets me apart, is my genuine interest in people and their professional and academic development. I have been actively involved in mentoring and supporting fellow students in achieving their best academic performance and providing them with feedback.
